Benefits of Teen Yoga
Yoga can offer numerous benefits for teenagers, both physically and mentally. Teenagers often face academic pressure, social challenges, and hormonal changes. Yoga provides a calming effect on the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety levels. Breathing exercises and relaxation techniques learnt in yoga classes also help in developing emotional resilience and coping skills. Participating in teen yoga classes provides an opportunity for social interaction and support, allowing teenagers to connect with peers with similar interests and interests. Regular practice of yoga can help in preventing sports injuries by increasing flexibility, strengthening muscles, and improving alignment and posture.
Yoga is such an important activity for our busy athletes and with physical and mental exhaustion as well as exam stress taking its toll, Erin was just what they needed. Thank you Erin for your patience, guidance and ongoing contribution to the health and wellbeing of your Netball Program students.
